What do we do at Allegheny Coatings?

Allegheny Coatings applies anti-corrosion finishes to metal parts to prevent rust. We have created multiple techniques that are only used at Allegheny Coatings. These unique processes are: Rack Spray, Dip-Spin, Mini Coater, Alkaline Cleaning, Media Blasting, Part Sealing, Electroplating, Hand Spray, and other added services.
 

Where is Allegheny Coatings located?

Allegheny Coatings has 2 locations in Ridgway, PA.

  • River Road: 224 River Road 

  • Bootjack: 349 Servidea Drive

 

What are Allegheny Coatings normal working hours?​

  • 1st shift 7 AM to 3 PM

  • 2nd shift 3PM to 11 PM

  • 3rd shift 11 PM to 7 AM

When do hourly employees get paid?

Bi-weekly (every other week)

What are the qualifications for a production position?

  • Must be able to stand up to 4 hours at a time

  • Must be able to perform routine and repetitive work

  • Must be able to meet production standards

  • Must be able to lift 5 lbs. on a regular basis

  • Must be 16 years of age

Are there opportunities for growth?

When is an employee eligible for the 401K?

The Company automatically enrolls all full-time employees into our 401(k)-retirement program on the 1st of the month following 2 months of service. Open enrollment periods are on the 1st day of each month thereafter.

 

​What is the 401K Match?

The company pays $0.50 on every dollar the employee contributes up to 6% of the employees pay.

Who is eligible to receive health insurance besides the employee?

The health insurance is available for the employees’ spouse and dependent children.

How much PTO do you receive the first year of employment?

The employee will receive 40 hours of PTO for the year after the completion of his/her trial period (520 hours). *The amount of PTO will be prorated the first year based on the employees start date.​
